About the Author
The author, Stephen Kriso, has always had an interest in the the computer industry since the early 1980s when the PC first started out. He and his father built every PC they had at home until relatively recently where the price to build has gotten higher than buying a pre-built machine.
While attening college at Fairfield Univeristy, Kriso worked as a computer lab assistant helping students and faculty with software. While spending many hours in the lab, he also began learning the new art of web development. In his Junior year, he declared a minor in Information Systems where he studied how information systems can improve workflow.
After graduation, he began a career in technology working as an aide at Pascack Valley High School in Hillsdale, New Jersey and began learning the Windows NT network technologies. In early 1999, Kriso moved into a corporate position working for a subsidiary of the Greater New York Hospital Association as network administrator.
After spending two years in the city, a move was made back to education working for the New Milford Board of Education in New Milford, New Jersey. His great achievement in New Milford was the establishment of a district wide Windows 2000 network which was designed and completed within 18 months.
In 2001, Kriso started his own technology business, SAK Information Systems, LLC based in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. The mission of the business is to provide Internet based communication solutions to clients.
